Pewnego dnia na swojej drodze stanęły prawda i kłamstwo.
-Dzień dobry - powiedziało kłamstwo.

-Piękny dzień - powiedziało kłamstwo.
Wtedy prawda wychyliła się, by sprawdzić, czy to prawda. Była.
-Piękny dzień - powiedziała wtedy prawda.
-Jeszcze piękniejsze jest jezioro - powiedziało kłamstwo.
Wtedy prawda spojrzała w stronę jeziora i zobaczyła, że kłamstwo mówi prawdę i kiwnęła głową. Kłamstwo podbiegło do wody i powiedziało:

Prawda dotknęła wody palcami, a ona naprawdę była piękna i polegała na kłamstwie. Obie zdjęły ubrania i płynęły spokojnie. Chwilę później wyszło kłamstwo, ubrało się w szaty prawdy i odeszło.
Prawda, niezdolna do przebrania się w kłamstwo, zaczęła chodzić bez ubrań i ten widok wszystkich przerażał.
I tak do dnia dzisiejszego ludzie wolą, pięknie ubrane kłamstwo niż nagą prawdę...
